Fuji Shibazakura Festival 2024 “Pink Moss” from April 30 to May 26, 2024

We went to this Shibazakura Festival by private car and driver from Tokyo on April 5th, 2024 We passed by Kotoku-in and Strawberry picking farm before arriving at this park around 13:30 PM in the afternoon. Since the pink moss at peak, there was many visitors causing minor traffic jam (20 minutes waiting time to park the car). The weather is perfect so that we could see clear Mt. Fuji and pink moss. It’s a perfect day.

Approximately 800,000 stalks of shibazakura of five varieties are on display, producing delightful fields of pink, white and purple colors in different hues.

Restaurants: There are many food stalls selling udon, hotdogs, skewers and more
